Tiniest ever transistor made from single atom
PURDUE (US) / U. MELBOURNE (AUS) — Physicists have built the smallest transistor ever built—in fact, the smallest transistor that can be built—using a single phosphorous atom.An international team of researchers at the University of New South Wales, Purdue University, and the University of Melbourne described the work in a paper in the journal Nature Nanotechnology....
