Safety violations led to Mexico daycare deaths
UC DAVIS (US) — Researchers have documented the safety and building code violations that played a role in the deaths of 49 young children at a daycare center in Mexico in 2009.The disastrous fire joins the ranks of other infamous blazes and should stimulate changes that might prevent future disasters from occurring, and particularly impel greater safety efforts at schools and daycare centers, say researchers....
