Open source Breathalyzer tells how much you’ve had to drink
First of all this project cannot be considered as serious measurement unit, so don’t rely on it especially if you are driver. Anyway this may be fun to play with. Breathalyzer is a combination of multiple modules an practically no soldering iron is needed. The core is based on Seeeduino which comes along with Seed musical shield that can play most popular audio files. WPvideo 1.10 Alcohol level is sensed with Twig alcohol sensor. The list goes on with character LCD, buttons and LiPo battery part with charger and optional solar charger. When everything is put in a hand held unit it simply looks big. But considering that project is open and Arduino based – no problem with modding, programming and expanding to your own needs. So when you are too drunk to read – at least you can hear how bad your situation is… and yeah – voices are great on video!...
