LED globe – this time Arduino based
Some time ago we have reviewed LED globe project built around Attiny 13 microcontroller. ScitechWA from instructables decided to take a chance and build Arduino based POV LED globe. LED globe is made of 32 LEDs. Arduino is interfaced to LEDs using TTL latches. A DC motor spins LED circle while its position is detected with inductive proximity sensor. This is pretty standard configuration like other POV devices have. Project description still misses some information so keep eye on it if you interested in progress....
